The days are getting longer and the sun is showing up more often. It’s time to prepare your Gardentub for a new outdoor season. With just a few simple steps, your tub will be fresh, clean, and ready for pure relaxation.
Step 1: Remove the cover
Start by removing the cover if you’re using one. During winter, it protects your tub from dirt and weather conditions, but now it’s time to take it off and open the season.
Not using a cover yet? We recommend using one whenever your Gardentub is not in use. It helps keep the inside clean and protects your tub from dirt, rain, and leaves.
Step 2: Remove dirt and debris
Take out any leaves, twigs, and other debris from the tub. Then check if the drain plug is open, so any remaining water and dirt can easily flow out.
Step 3: Rinse the tub
Rinse both the inside and outside of the Gardentub thoroughly with water. You can easily do this with a pressure washer to quickly and effectively remove dirt and prepare the surface for a deeper clean.
Step 4: Deep cleaning
Use a suitable plastic cleaner such as Zep Plastic Cleaner 750 ml or Zep 50 RTU.
Clean both the inside and outside of the tub with a soft cloth and water. Use the cleaner for stubborn dirt and rinse everything thoroughly with clean water afterwards, or use a pressure washer for a faster and more thorough result.
Please note: avoid abrasive products or aggressive chemicals, as they can damage the surface and reduce the lifespan of your tub.
Step 5: Quick refresh
Want to use your Gardentub but short on time? Or just want to give it a quick refresh? Use a pressure washer to make your Gardentub clean and fresh again within minutes. This is often already enough to get it ready for use.
